About Our GeoBorder Fixing Nails
Made from 100% recycled plastic and supplied in packs of 10, these plastic fixing nails are paired with our GeoBorder edging to create strong, durable and crisp separations between two landscaped areas such as grass, flower beds, driveways, patios and more. The nails provide a solid fixing to hold the edging lengths in place for years to come and due to being made for GeoBorder fits perfectly with the edging pieces. Its easy installation means you can create contoured or straight edges around a landscaped area to prevent crumbly edges, material migration and plants or grass from growing out of their area.
Why Should I Use The GeoBorder Nails?
GeoBorder nails are strong, durable and easy to use fixing solutions for your edging products. Although designed primarily for use with GeoBorder they can also be used alongside our other edging products. Below is more information on just a few of their many benefits:
Environmentally Friendly
As our GeoBorder nails are manufactured from 100% recycled plastic, the waste used has been diverted from landfill sites and possibly the ocean and has instead been used to create an edging fixing that will perform fantastically for years to come with our edging products. By reducing the amount of plastic waste going to landfill and creating a great product which will last for years and years and can be recycled at the end of its life, this offers a double-edged ethical aspect to this product.
Easy Installation
Using plastic nails in the installation of GeoBorder edging is a simple process, we recommend using approximately 6 nails per linear meter of Geoborder. To start decide where you would like the edging to be installed before digging a small trench for the edging to sit in. If needed, snip the back supports of the edging to allow you to contour the geoborder to match the layout of the project. To fix the edging into the ground, use the nails and either push them or mallet them into the hole provided at the back of the edging until it is sitting flush with the surrounding area. Repeat this process of laying, contouring and securing until you have created the full border you wanted. Finally, backfill the area to cover the supports of the edging and the nails.
