Thehardened and stamped oval-shaped steel blades are parallel-riveted to reduce back fill.

The 220mm deep powder-coated blades are suitable for digging 6 inch diameter post holes.

The longer handles ensure this spade is suitable for greater depth whilst also providing ease of use.

It is suitable for professional and occasional use. It can be used in the garden for digging holes and for plant relocation. It is simple to use: push together the handles and throw them down into the ground, using the tips to penetrate the soil. Pull apart the handles to put pressure on the captured soil, lift out the soil and place on the side. Continue this process until the required width and depth is achieved. Once the plant has been inserted the excess soil can be refilled.
