What Is A Non-Woven Membrane Used For?
This 1m x 10m membrane is a heavy-duty non-woven polypropylene membrane which is ideal for use underneath a range of projects including garden bases, landscaping or gardening projects. The unique design and manufacture provides this membrane with optimum performance, excellent mechanical robustness and hydraulic properties which in turn makes this membrane the perfect choice for separation and filtration. Non-woven membranes are tough, long-lasting fabrics which allow moisture to permeate through to the ground below ensuring liquids and nutrients are able to pass into the soil.
Installation of membrane is quick and simple. To start, strim or cut low to root area of existing vegetation ensuring there are no fibrous stalks which could potentially penetrate through the membrane or excavate the area to leave a soil base. Roll out and lay your non-woven membrane before securing with galvanised steel membrane staples at approximately 1 metre intervals to prevent movement.
